Nutrovell Prenatal Iron, Folate & B12 Support – 90 Tablets

A prenatal formula of 13 vitamins and minerals centred on 28 mg iron, 800 mcg folic acid (1,333 mcg DFE), vitamin B12, vitamin D3 and zinc. Folate and iron are the nutrients whose requirements rise most sharply in pregnancy, supporting the expansion of maternal blood volume and fetal development. Adequate folate before and during early pregnancy supports normal neural-tube formation, which is why it is prioritised preconceptionally. Iron supports the substantial rise in maternal red-cell mass and oxygen delivery to the developing baby, and B12 works alongside folate in cell division and neurological development.

Take one tablet daily with your main meal and water; taking it with food helps reduce the nausea some experience with iron.

Many people begin a prenatal while trying to conceive and continue through pregnancy and breastfeeding, but follow your doctor's or midwife's advice.

Each bottle contains 90 tablets, a 90-day supply at one per day.

Because it already contains iron and folic acid, do not combine it with a separate iron supplement or standard multivitamin unless advised. Keep it apart from tea, coffee and calcium-only products for best iron absorption.

Iron can cause constipation or darkened stools; food, fluids and dietary fibre help. Persistent nausea should be discussed with your provider.
