Frequently Asked Questions
What is Nutrovell Liver Support Complex?
It combines standardized Milk Thistle (250 mg) with Dandelion, Artichoke, N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC), Choline, L-Carnitine and Vitamin E. Silymarin, the flavonolignan complex in milk thistle, is a well-studied hepatoprotective antioxidant, while NAC is a precursor to glutathione, the liver's principal endogenous antioxidant. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA and this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
How does the formula support liver function?
Silymarin helps stabilise hepatocyte membranes and supports antioxidant defence; NAC replenishes the glutathione used in phase-II detoxification; and choline supports normal export of lipids from the liver. Dandelion and artichoke are traditional bitters used to support bile flow and digestion.
How should I take it?
Take two capsules daily with your main meal and water.
How soon will I notice results?
Botanical liver support is taken consistently rather than acutely; a 4-to-8-week course of daily use is the usual window for assessing benefit.
How long does one bottle last?
Each bottle contains 90 capsules, a 45-day supply at two per day.
Can I take it with other supplements or medications?
Milk thistle and NAC can interact with drugs processed by the liver, including some chemotherapy agents, anticoagulants and diabetes medications. If you take prescription medicines or are being treated for a liver condition, consult your prescriber first.
Are there any side effects?
It is generally well tolerated; occasional mild digestive upset can occur. Those allergic to the Asteraceae (daisy and ragweed) family should avoid it, since milk thistle, dandelion and artichoke belong to that family.
Who should avoid it?
Consult your physician if pregnant, breastfeeding, or managing a medical condition. Do not use if the outer seal is broken.
