Vitamin C – Ascorbic Acid 1000 mg – 120 Tablets

Each tablet supplies 1,000 mg of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) with Rose Hips, a traditional botanical source of vitamin C and bioflavonoids. Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant and an essential cofactor for the enzymes that synthesise collagen. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA and this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Vitamin C supports normal immune-cell function, regenerates other antioxidants such as vitamin E, and is required for the hydroxylation steps in collagen synthesis that maintain skin, blood vessels and connective tissue. It also enhances the absorption of non-heme (plant-source) iron.

Take one tablet daily with your main meal and water.

As a daily antioxidant and immune nutrient, vitamin C is most effective when taken consistently to maintain saturation, rather than only when you feel unwell.

Each bottle contains 120 tablets, a 120-day supply at one per day.

It pairs well with our Iron, since vitamin C improves iron absorption. Because it is water-soluble, intakes above requirement are largely excreted, though very high amounts can cause loose stools.

The formula contains gelatin and beeswax, so it is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

Consult a physician if pregnant, breastfeeding, under medical supervision, or with a history of kidney stones, as high-dose vitamin C can raise urinary oxalate.
